I had a CPU fan go out on me. I removed the fan, but cannot figure out how to remove the heatsink. It's a Socket370 PGA.
Is there a certain technique or tool I'm supposed to be using?
Thanks

Here's an install sheet. Reverse the process.

Normally, the heatsink fan stay as a unit to snap on and off. A long, thin flat tip screwdriver is usually the tool of choice. Here's a link that may help you even tho it's an AMD heatsink, they should be similar.

If it will fit, leave the heatink on and just replace the fan.
