my pcchips m598 mboard has sis530 8mb onboard video and i cant find anything to tell me how to dissable the onboard video so I can install my 64mb nvidea card
help please!!!!!

It depends on what brand and version your BIOS is . When I installed an ATI Graphics card , I have no option to disable the onboard video, I have Award Bios ver6.o , I disabled the i810 intergated graphics via Device Manager , under Display Adapters and System devices . I then rebooted the system and it automatically installed the standard VGA software. I then proceeded with the installation of the drivers and the software for the ATI Graphics card. Then after installation I set the display accordingly , in my case 1024 x 768 pixels was best on my 17" monitor ! Good Luck,Nick
