How do you change the region code of your dvd? I asked before on here and someone said go into device manager in the control panel and click on the properties of your dvd player but I see no option there.

settings> control panel> system> hardware> device manager> DVD drive> "Advanced Properties".
Thats it. There should be a list of countries to pick from. Be warned, most DVDs only allow you to set the region code a limited number of times.

I don't have advanced properties as an option. I also don't have hardware. What i see in the control panel is system and then device manager tab, then my dvd drive is listed under cd drives and there is only one properties which has no region code.
