CPU/Ram: 1.6 ghz 514 ddr

my cpu has been dead for almost 2 weeks now. had it up and going but basically when i try to install xp home, it says that setup did not find nay hard disk drivers installed on the cpu. and its not showing in my bios.
everythings connected right.
it was working 2 days ago.

i did get a virus, that one that shuts ur cpu down in 60 seconds thing that infects dial up. since that, its been crazy.
any suggestions?

how do i do that when the cpu wont even boot up into windows?

You use a working machine to do the download and make the boot diskette(s) that allow you to boot the system with disk drive from the diskettes. Insert feet back on ground after drying them off.
