Hi guys,.. I have a p200mmx computer with win me operating system on it and I want to change my hard drive and put a larger one into it , how do I copy only the os from the hard drive to my cd rw ?? Any thoughts and Thanks in advance!!!!

mr bob,.. i am sorry to say that u cannot copy any operating system which is installed in the hard disk to a cd. becz there r some boot records in the hard disk which u cannot copy. but their another way that is you can use the other hard disk as addional drive. raheel

Or, use a program like pc relocator. Hook up both hard drives, migrate the info to the new drive and then change it to master.

Why do you want to only copy the OS? Most hard drive manufacturers have a utility that will copy over the whole drive. They are usually free to download.
