How do I restore to factory settings?

I have a Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8995E and have been having problems with various errors and I would like to restore it back to the factory settings and start over again...How do I restore back to the factory settings????

Did you get any restore disks with the computer. If you did, you insert it and boot up. It should give you directions.

I didn't get any discs with it, but, however, I did create recovery discs; would this be the right discs to use? By the way, thank you for repling to my post.

Yup, and it's shocking how many people fail to create those recovery discs.

Make sure it's not a hardware problem...if it is, you're just wasting your time with the restore. You realize that you'll lose all your files, right? Hopefully you have them backed up. You may need to dig up drivers after the reinstall too.
