Specs: Windows XP, 1024 MB
How do I recover audio? I have a compaq presario SR2038X media center aedition 2005 desk top pc and when I installed a graphics card in my pci-e slot I lost my audio output. When I open the device manager all is grayed out and no volume control. Someone told me I need to enable the onboard audio in the BIOS but there is nothing that I see that shows anything about audio. I have installed all the latest drivers and indicates all is working properly! NOT The graphics card I have installed is the Sapphire Radeon HD4550 express card 512MB 1 gig ram.My MOB is a ASUSTek/NODUSM3 1.05. My pc has 1024mb of ram and a 250 gig HD, I sure could use somone to shed some better light on this problem. It seems as if the onboard audio is conflicting with the new card.

I think cheap pci audio card will be the solution.
