Sounds like the hard drive cable is loose. Is this a desktop or laptop?

Are you still using the original drive?

If after checking your cable connections.

Can you boot into Safe mode?

Sounds like the computer is attempting to boot to a network connection and the network device is not connected to the internet.

The hard drive may have failed or the drive has become corrupted and un-bootable. This MAY be caused by the drive not in the boot order before the network boot.

Boot into the BIOS (setup) screens and check to see that the hard drive is being configured by the BIOS. Also check the boot order.
