i have got a Radeon 9800 pro (128) and how do i overclock it so i can get better performace, i am new to this do i have to get a new fan for my card like Arctic Cooling Rev.4 Silencer ?

ATiTool is the best o/c'ing utility, it's a free download. Just google it.
If you're lucky you can get in the region of 10% o/c with stock cooling, depending on your brand of 9800. But if you really want to get more out of it you will need a better cooling solution like the Arctic rev.4
