READ the directions for installing the wireless adapter !

Usually you must install the software for it BEFORE you first plug it in.

If the software for it has it's own wireless settings program, if it's like the situation with Windows 2000 and up, if that's installed and running you can't use the wireless settings program built into the operating system. You have to .....
- choose not to install the wireless settings program that came with it, if you can, when you install the software. (You must install drivers for the adapter.)
- or choose a setting in that program to use the operating system's program,
- or you may be able to un-install the wireless settings program without un-installing the drivers for the wireless adapter,
- or you may be able to prevent the wireless settings program from loading as a startup program when the operating system first loads .

X86 has made a good point.

The only MAC drivers I have found for this so far are these:

Drivers for Mac - free trial - $15 to buy - the third one under Proxim:
http://www.orangeware.com/endusers/...

You could look here on the Proxim web site, but you need to set up an account:
