At the top of the browser click VIEW / Toolbars and uncheck it. Also check in control panel / add remove programs and see if it's listed. If it is, remove it.

As a last resort, save your favorites to a file. Uninstall firefox and reinstall the latest version.

"underneath my google search there is a free ride games sign and another web search it is weird"

It's not weird, your system is infected with spyware/malware that YOU allowed to install. Every one of them is spyware, including Google. Uninstall all of them. If you don't have CCleaner installed, get the Slim version & clean your system. CCleaner has it's own Uninstaller menu (left hand side, click TOOLS) that you can use to uninstall some of these garbage programs. You should also check the Startup list & disable any of the useless garbage that loads when you boot the system. There are only a few items that are absolutely necessary - anti-virus, firewall, graphics, audio, network. That's it. Anything else can be started on an as-needed basis. Use the Registry Cleaner too - remove everything it finds.

You should also install MalwareBytes, update it, then run a full scan from Safe Mode. And if you're running a crappy anti-virus program such as Norton or McAfee, uninstall it & replace it with AVAST!, AVG Free or Microsoft Security Essentials. All are free, work well, & are NOT resource hogs like Norton & McAfee. You can find them all here:

Free Ride games is a problem. Tracking cookies spam malware spyware. It’s never really permanently gone until you go into the registry and yank it out of there. It’s hidden well and I still can’t find it myself. If anybody knows were the dam things is located in the registry please let me know. Mean time I advise all to stay away from that website and absolutely don't download anything from there.

Apart from Ccleaner & malwarebytes, get superantispyware.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
