Is the model of the laptop a secret?

Go to the Dell website and download the correct drivers for your laptop.

✔ Best Answer
You should also be able to find the Drivers you're looking for on AMDs website. The link below has an autofind feature that will assist you in finding the correct driver.

Well you do not uninstall a graphics chip, you uninstall a driver.
As stated above you can download your drivers from the link given in response #2

Without the model number of the laptop I can't be sure, but you kind of indicate you are still able to use the laptop. This may indicate you have a laptop with dual graphics. If so, you need to get the driver package from the manufacturers site. That is why I suggested going there.

I followed Newbie10 advice and went to the link provided.
It found my hardware in no time, I downloaded it & installed drivers.
Now my laptop is back to the way it was before i messed it up.

Too easy when you know how!!

Thanks for all the posts.
