I have a Dell Dimension 2350 that I have been working on, It boots and runs windows but the system randomly freezes up and must be hard reset, Crtl Alt Delete, nothing doesnt respond. I have already ran: Linux based system test (Hard Drive, Processor, Memory test and Seating Test) everything passed, Listened to the hard drive everything sounds good, Reloaded Windows XP and all of the System Updates, There is not temperature sensor for the CPU but the HD is at 35* Celsius, and everything seems normal. But the customer still has the computer randomly freezing up on him. I am at a loss, I did not see any blown capacitors, and have a new power supply on the way that I wanted to test out. This PC is very simple and open in the case I don't think its having a overheating problem. The only thing that makes since is a failed cap on the motherboard and or bad power supply. I have another power supply on the way and will be testing it later this week. But let me know what you all think I would really appreciate any and all help.

go to and download memtest86 v3.5 burn it then boot from cd/dvd drive to start memory test. Go to hard drive manufacture website and download diagnostic software for testing hdd. U can't see cpu temp in bios? When testing make sure only cpu and heatsink, ram, cd/dvd drive, hdd, v-card are connected.
