Does that mixer have a 48 volt phantom power option for condenser microphones? Does that mic provide an option to use a battery with it? If not you will need to buy a mic preamp that can provide the 48 volts to run it.
There may also be a switch on the board to provide the power. It usually doesn't hurt to have it on when using a common non-powered mic but it may also burn it out. Look for a mic power or other labeled switch.
Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
