Specs: Windows 7
I cleaned my Laptop keyboard with a liquid cleaner and since then multiple characters appear for one like 'fv' for f or 'dc' for c.
some keys don't even work at all.

LIQUID? What kind of liquid? You should never apply liquid directly to a keyboard. If the keys are dirty, with laptop OFF and battery pulled from unit, you can apply warm water to a soft cloth to just dampen it, then gently clean the keys.

With laptop off, battery pulled out, tilt laptop on its side, or even hold it upside down and use compressed air to blow under the keys to clean out any loose dirt or debris.

Just another stupid saying...

Anything other than water is a no no. You need to get rid of the remainder of whatever you used. Try the Google list below.
