How can i use IDE HDD and Sata Dvd?

Hey guys first of all, sorry for the bad english, my 3rd language :),
So I installed a new motherboard ( Gigabyte eg41mf-us2h). I have 2 IDE hard drive and 1 Sata dvd burner. when i try to start my computer It says Disk boot failure. I have looked into the Bios settings and it doesnt seem to recognize my IDE drives and I know it must have something to do with the bios settings but i need help with how to set up my IDE/SATA so that it would both work. both IDE HDD jumper is already set as Master and Slave.. any help please..

Are both drives getting power (drive spinning)?
Check the jumpers very carefully. Some drives have weird jumper settings.
Try one drive at a time.

thanks for the reply but i got it all working trough messing up with the bios setting..
