how can i find out what key is stuck on my ke

Specs: Windows Vista

very annoying beeping sound when i type. i've figured that it's a stuck key causing this. can anyone give me tips on how to find out what one?

it's a pc laptop keyboard, another problem this causes is that i can't the same key several times in a row so if i mistype something i need to wait quite a while between deleting characters

Was it soda, beer or wine (that you spilled on the keyboard)?

no it was non of the above actually. no food stuffs at all. even though i'm inclined to be very clumsy at times. what i think happened was that i put my leg on more than one key for a few seconds and probably squashed one or two down to hard. (and no i wasn't trying to type with my calfs...) and then the beeps appeared.

If this is a Dell, there is a KB test in the Dell Diagnostics (bootable CD or floppy).

Otherwise, try opening Notepad, Wordpad or MS Word, and press each key see if there are patterns in letters etc that are stuck.
