Hey I was wondering if you guys could help me out.... I have an Ati Sapphire Radeon hd 5550 in which doesn't physically support crossfire cables. And I've seen people and heard of how people can find drivers or mod their bios or whatever to bypass this and still use 2 of the same cards in Crossfire mode..... Now I know my motherboard only has 1 pci-e slot, but I would just get another board with 2 slots, and upgrade from Windows 7 ultamite 32 bit to 64bit.... If it helps to know.... I'm running

Windows 7 Ultamite 32 bit (Will switch to 64bit)
Motherboard-Biostar TA890GXBHD
Ram-4 gigs (2x2048mb) DDR3 1600MHz OCZ Gold Edition
CPU- AMD Phenom2 x4 965 Black Edition AM3 3.4Ghz
Hdd- 1 TB Western Digital 64mb cache 7200 rpm sata 3

And the video card is an Ati Sapphire Radeon hd 5550 In which supports Hypermemory.....

I know the clocking speed aint that fast but with the Hypermemory it can still run BF2 Bad Company 2 and Gta4 On full graphics not overclocked. Which I think is amazing for an $80 card. Now, my friend has the same video card and same type and amount of ram and is offering to sell it all for $75 since he's getting better stuff..... Which is why I came up with this idear.

If anyone knows how I could get two of these cards running in crossfire that would be ubelieveable seeing as it's cheap for me and just one card running at 2.8gigs of ddr3 on 4 gigs of ram (3.25 useable on 32 bit) runs everything..... Then 2 cards running at 5.6 gigs ddr3 (Probably wont be that high, most likely usse less) on 8 gigs would be hell.

Thanx guys

The Sapphire HD 5550 is only $50 after rebate + $6 shipping at newegg.

EDIT: sorry, wrong card. Do you already have a 2GB card? What has that done to your system memory? Have you checked to see how much is actually being recognized by 32-bit Windows?
