Horizontal lines going up and down

I recently noticed in most games that when im in 800-600 resolution i can more or less see bar type lines moving up and down in the backround. It takes a moment to notice it but it gets very annoying. I have tried just about everything and i am very confused to why it only happens in 800-600 resolution. IF anyone has had this problem or can suggest anything i would appreciate it greatly. Thanks

Perhaps it is a fault in the refresh rate at that resolution, namely it is too slow?

I have set the refresh rate to 60,85,100 in the games and i still can see the lines. I have tried almost everything..

Basically i figured out my problem. I found a post some other people had my same problem but didnt mention it was in only 1 resolution. I put my refresh fix for Ati to 60 for 800-600 and i didnt get the lines. But like the people in the post anything over 60 and i get it. So i guess what im asking is does anyone else have this problem and if so does anyone know a fix for it? Thanks
