i am getting this message during booting
Hooking bootstrap interrupt 18h
then the booting continues and os gets loaded . meanwhile the monitor keeps swithing on and off as screens change. when os is finally downloded the monitor becomes stable and everything is ok. any ideas why this is happeninig what to do about it.

You might want to scan for a virus, sounds like you have something that has infected the MBR. This rings a bell but the light bulb at the moment is not going on but I'm pretty sure it is a MBR virus. Just can't remember which one.
