Home built PC not working.

April 9, 2010 at 06:08:41
Specs: Windows Vista
I purchased all new parts to put together here
at home for a new PC. This is the first time
I've put one together so I am hoping my
problem is my own human error, and need
some help finding it.

I've installed all hardware, how ever when I turn
the power supply on, and try to turn on the
computer nothing happens. There are no
beeps, the fans don't kick on, or anything.

Using a hard drive I already owned that is
compat with this hardware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated with my
problem here. Thank you for reading.

If you didn't benchtest your hardware before assembling it in the case, that's where you made your mistake.

How to Bench Test Your System

Also, when posting in these forums, type your question(s) directly in the reply box....don't copy/paste from another program. What ends up happening is your links won't work.

It's too bad you didn't ask about your hardware choices in advance because you could have done much better for your money.

I can't access the link. Benchtest your hardware first.
