When i go to burn a cd the power of the this drive seems to be dead. Until i press eject then it starts working. When a cd is finished successfully it ejects. But i cant push the tray back in because no power is to it. I press eject and it comes to life and works again. I checked all power cords and all seems fine and fitted properly. The drive cant be dead because it works. Any help on this weird stuff?

Thank you for your help.

seems like the drivers spinning in a loop until the eject command jumps it out. i'd start by installing the latest drivers.
