I recently bought a laptop, as described, in an auction. The machine is booting from floppy, which I use to load DOS. After that I boot into Linux. I cant boot from hd, because of bios settings. I tried all the killcmos like programms, unsuccessfull. I tried all the tricks, like turn it on without any battery or hd also unsuccessfull. Please, if anyone knows how to override the password, let me know. It's the bios setup supervisor password. Thank you in advance Jorge
PS: sending it to compaq or to a speciallized shop is not an option as the laptop value is lower than what they would charge me.
