I have an Intel D845GRG motherboard in my system now

I am looking to upgrade my memory and wanted to know if anyone can help me find out if my motherboard supports high density memory. any help would be appreciated!

well i'm just looking at all my options. i know there's arguements for using/not using high density. its obviously a cheaper alternative if you are able to support it. my board only supports up to pc2100 so i'm not able to get anything too high end anyways so just looking for an upgrade. if i can use high, i have the budget to max out my board to 2gb so just thought someone might have some insight

Well I'm sure some of the big diestributors like Newegg.com have boards supporting high density.

oh, you're looking to see if it DOES support, not can you find...oops.

I think in the case of the 845, it's going to depend on what submodel chipset it is (such as 845G). Because I'm pretty sure I've seen 845's that support is but not all.

Density issues were with older motherboards that used PC100/PC133 RAM.

AFAIK, all RAM being produced today is high denisty.
