a bought a new battery for my toshiba,placed it in the computer after a took out the old one that wasnt holding a charge,a charged it for about 2 hrs or so,then a took out the charger to see whats what with it,lasted for about 40 mins n then cut out,switched off,but always said 36 per cent for the full 40 mins,then once a put the charger back in now sayin battery not detected,any advice,would apreciate it,thanks!!,,
Did you buy it from Toshiba? If not, verify the battery is fully compatible. New batteries usually require about 24 hours to charge.
