I have a Hewlett Packard 8776C and am trying add more memory to it. I can see where the memory goes but I can't get at it. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I think that you may have to remove the hard drive cage. I'm not too sure but I did add memory to an HP and I had to do that. On an IBM I had to remove the power supply. There is very little room in the smaller cases.

I have the same model HP,and it's got an ASUS MOBO to boot, and yes, you have to remove the cage to get the ram in. You have to remove the power supply to get at anything else you may want to decide to upgrade as well, such as your video card. The key is, be gentle, it's plastic and will break and make sure you have ALL the screws out before attmepting to pull the rack out.
