Comment: Im a tech at a small computer shop and a machine came in today where the user had installed a new ide cd writer and it worked - but on further inspection he had left out the digital audio cable - so after looking around there was a plug that fitted coming from the power supply (a +5 volt line) - after alot of smoke he decided he had done something wrong.
Anyone else got stories to share??????
