is there any kind of program that would detect the possibility of upgrades on a particular machine?
like if the proccessor can be upgraded any further

im using a dell and am tryin to figure out if i can upgrade the proccessor lol
its a dell dimension 2300 with 2ghz processor.

Lavalys' Everest Home Edition detects the hardware but also gives hints on hardware upgrades and range for some hardware like CPU.Good luck.
