Hello)

I have an HP Compaq laying around and I thought it would be a good idea to connect it to my TV for internet access etc.

The HP compaq is a slimline small form Desktop PC and is a few years old.

There is an NVIDEA Vanta-16 AGP graphics card in it at the moment, so I'm guessing ill have to upgrade the graphics card so I can connect it to the TV.

I dont want to spend more than £20 on the new graphics (second hand maybe), I'm thinking of a radeon 9200 or somthing.

My prob is the size of my case will only take a very small profile graphics card which are hard to find- buit there is room for a normalsize graphics card to fit into one of the PCI slots.

My question is, will a PCI graphics card work in this system with an old motherboardwith a PCI riser.

Help plz! hehe thanks)))

Boo!

You would not be happy using a non-HD TV as a monitor, the display will be terrible. You would be much better off purchasing a small used monitor.

Agree! TV as monitor is crap and not worth spending money on card, better to spend it on secondhand monitor.
