I do not see anywhere where it says that this card supports VGA through the DVI port via an adapter. Most cards that support this also are supplied with the adapter as well. Check with the card mfg for this. If it does not then you are going to have to decide if you are going to change cards or monitors, of live with one monitor for a while until you can.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Yes that is the correct adapter and yes your card supports VGA.

Don't forget to enable the second monitor using your cat control software, or the windows monitor management.

the card supports dual link dvi as stated on sapphire, the thing is u have to have the connections properly made the dvi in the video card and the vga in the monitor
to enable the second monitor u have to go to personalize and then display then change display settings then check if 2 monitors show up identify or detect them

computers are a second home

it was a India ebay listing, that why I asked.

Can you just hook up your one monitor that is working to either port on the card and have them work?

okay.. adapter doesnt work for DVI I to VGA unfortunately. there is no logical connection inside. its just a dummy.

It would have worked if that was a hdmi connector, since its digital to digital.

or if it was DVI - D (dual ie analog and digital) then that connector would have worked.

any way thanks for your replies
