Hello.

I have a HP Pavilion 7915, and I'm trying to fully restore it back to it's original/bought version. It has Windows XP built into it so there are no discs, and no I don't know where the manual is.....

Anyways, I am sitting here clicking HP PC System Recovery so I can do a Destructive Recovery. I click and a pop-up asks me "Do you really want to start HP PC System Recovery?" I click yes, and nothing happens. Everytime.

Please help.

What happens if you boot it and press F8? Does it take you to the boot menu? Choose last known good config if it does.

Set the BIOS back to defaults. See if it boots then.

When you first turn on the PC, you will see
Press F1 or Del to enter setup. Using the arrow keys and the enter key, navigate to where is says Load BIOS Defaults. Press enter and save changes.
