Hello everyone!

Okay, I want to sell these two computers on eBay, but I have no idea how to price them... So I'll ask the experts. =)

Computer #1:
* Make/Model: Compaq Presario 6010US (desktop)
* CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1600+ (1.4GHz)
* RAM: 512MB
* Video card: 64MB Sapphire (ATI core?)
* Video card: 32MB GeForce 2 (disabled)
* Hard Drive: 80GB (Western Digital)
* Hard Drive: 40GB (Maxtor)
* CD/DVD Burner (DVD double-layer)
* CD/DVD Burner
* Floppy drive
* 6 USB 1.0 ports
* Serial & parallel ports
* S-Video, RCA & VGA out
* Modem & ethernet
* Monitor: Compaq MV5500 + speakers
* No keyboard or mouse
* OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home (four restore CDs)

Computer #2:
Make/Model: ABS Mayhem Z2 R30 (laptop)
* Make/Model: Compaq Presario 6010US (desktop)
* CPU: Intel Core Duo (2.4GHz)
* RAM: 1GB
* Video card: 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
* Hard Drive: 100GB
* CD/DVD Burner
* Card reader (MMC/SD/MS)
* Modem, ethernet, & wireless
* 4 USB 2.0 ports
* 1 FireWire port
* S-Video & VGA out
* OS: Windows XP Professional (+ install DVD) (1/3 of drive)
* OS: Windows Vista Business (+ install DVD) (1/3 of drive)
* OS: Fedora 8 Linux (+ install DVD) (1/3 of drive)
* Monitor sometimes goes bad (I posted about that in here, look down the thread list)
* Built-in camera is disabled because, due to the monitor problem, causes BSODs
* H key is missing
* Case has a lot of scratches, even a dark spot with paint worn off

Can someone give me an estimate? Thanks in advance!

If I connect my microwave to my PC, will I be able to download food? I posted a question, haha

Best thing to do is to look at current and previous sales on eBay to determine pricing. Shipping a used CRT monitor is too expensive. I am guessing the desktop isn't worth much.

I assume the listing for the second computer is a laptop? I would suggest you remove the OSes from that unit and either keep them or sell them seperately. I am assumming again that they are retail versions that can be installed on any computer. At least one of them must be.

If the computer isn't fully functional (keyboard issue), you may be better off advertising that one for parts. The display is probably worth what the entire unit would bring.

The parts are worth more than the sum.

Just sell the mb with cpu and ram.
Check and see... you will find a mb with a guarantee will bring more than the whole box.

Add the video card in as a bonus if someone uses buy it now.

The cd and dvd can also be sold a piece at a time.

Wish there was a trade or for sale section here for members.

Oh. Okay, so I'll take it apart and sell it that way? Okay.

As for the laptop, it's not THAT bad as to sell it for parts... I mean, it's still my main computer. Maybe I exaggerated a bit.

Thanks you all very much for the ideas! =)

H key is missing? I think that would be a major problem for most people.

I suggest you look at eBay for LCD display panels and MBoards for your computer. I think you will see the worldlibrary is correct.
