Hi All, well im having problems where by my computer is just ramdomly shutting down without warning, at first i thought it could be a ram problem so i replaced the ram and still it carries on shutting down.. ive ran all my virus/adaware/spyware/trojen scanner also and they pick nothing up, only other idea i have is that something sumwhere is overheating but what? and how can i find out... i have 3 internal fans as it is not including cpu fan, my board is a ASUS A7N8X-X, i have and AMD Athlon 3200+ and a Radeon 9600 atlantis graphics card... if you need any more info just ask and any help given will be much appriciated tks alot ride !! :-)

Is it shutting down, or restarting?
If it's shutting down, it could be an overheating problem. What's your CPU temp? I have the same board & my CPU is currently idling at 29C. Do you have Asus Probe installed to monitor your temps? If not, you should have it on the disc that came with your board, or you can download it. Otherwise, you can check your temps in the BIOS in the Hardware Monitor section.
