heres my motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128033
it has 3 PCI slots and 1 PCI Express slot.
I want to go for a nvidia 7600gt and i cant find one that fits into a PCI slot at newegg so i want to go pci express but when i was looking at the specs for my mobo it said this " 1 x PCI Express x16 (signals at x4)" what does it mean by signals at x4?

It means the x16 (PCI-E) slot is not fully operational but defaults to the x4 speed because of the motherboard's chipset. This shouldn't prevent you from using a x16 card in the slot - it is just to let you know that it won't be running at x16 but x4 which in terms of real-world performance is about 15% hit ..... not bad.
