I'm using a athlon 2600+ with my a7v8x-x. I have 2x512mb ram. One stick is pc2700 the other is pc3200. It has no problem doing 1.9 ghz. The highest option is 2.3ghz. It says I should only use DDR 400 when I try 2.3ghz so I take out the pc 2700 stick and the computer will just keep rebooting itself before it gets to the Windows XP screen with the loading bar. I am new at this overclocking stuff but I like to run my computers at the fullest. I'm assuming I should get another stick of ddr 400 ram and then maybe it will work? What do you think?

If it doesn't run with the 400 stick that you have, adding another is not going to help.
