Sorry for probably such an easy question but, I am planning on buying more RAM for my pc and i want 512MB more, so i should have 768MB total,(maybe i will buy 2 512 sticks) so my pc is faster and i dont know how to figure out what my ram is, i mean i know there is 2 slots with 256 each but isnt there like 2 different kinds of ram? anyways, how would i find out what i have? Or, should i just take out the ram of my pc, bring it with me and give it to one of the people that work there and let them get me a 512? also, how much would it cost to get a 512 MB stick of ram? also what is the next size and for how much?
Right now, i have 512 MB of ram and i want more so it will help me on my games so the would run faster. i also have a GeForce FX 5200 128 MB video card. Would upgrading that make my games and my pc run faster?

Memory has to be installed according to the mother board manufacturer's specifications.
I don't know if another video card will improve the game speed.

However, do not buy your video card from Crucial ;-)
