i,m not sure of the cause. I can start up ok. I can open some programs ok for a few mins before it crashes or freezes. It freezes when I try to open control panel. I cant get online as aol starts but freezes when the home page comes up or when I get on to any other site. I unistalled aol and installed it again but still it crashes.
I resized my display to 640 x 480 and I can get online for a few mins ok before it freezes or crashes again.
any idea what could be wrong or what can I do to find out what,s causing it?
thanks.

See if booting into safe mode helps at all.

Did you install any software recently?
