If all was well prior to the update you can try one of two things.

First, perform a system restore to a time just prior to the update.

Or second, try Verizon tech support.

I tried a system restore but my computer was unable to restore to any previous point....tried lots of dates.....I have uninstalled SP3 and the modem works fine....however...don't I NEED the SP3? What should I do? Do you think if I uninstall the VZ Access Manager (the Verizon Software for the modem), then install SP3, then reinstall the VZ Access Manager it will work? The modem works fine on any computer already running SP3...

I would inquire with Verizon about the problem. Maybe your modem needs a firmware update.
