I need someone to tell me how I format a slave hard drive in windows xp. I added a second hard drive but it has xp on it and i dont want anything on it. I want to use it for storage. I have tried to go through "My Computer" and do a quick format that way, but it wont let me. Tells me to close all programs that are using the drive. Well there are no programs using the drive...lol its a slave. I dont boot from it. So how do I format it? Thank you for your support.

Thank you D. I purchased XP, but hated it and went back to Win98. If I am ever forced to start using XP, that site will probably come in handy (if it's still around). :-)
