hi.......... i have a problem with my keyboard. everything seems to be fine but the letters X,C and V don't work at all. i have tried 3 different keyboards and they all have the same prob cheerz....

I would simply try re-installing Windows.If this fails the connection to the motherboard is probably bad or you need special drivers for this type of keyboard.Manufacturers like HP have their own drivers for keyboards.Check the website for your manufacturer.You can also use the ASCII codes for the missing keys.These codes exist for all the letters and figures and special characters you can use for maths,accounting,foreign languages like spanish,french etc. C 67 c 99 V 86 v 117 X 88 x 120 To use these codes type Alt+the code on the key pad on the right of the keyboard.For example Alt+67 is the letter C(capital C).Good luck.

You don't mention as in which program these keys stop working? NOTEPAD, WORD, WRITE, etc. Also, it may be the fact that you have inadvertantly changed the keyboard mapping. It is interesting that those three keys are also used along with the CTRL key for CUT COPY and PASTE...:o)
