My Lexar jumpdrive got dropped into some water. I drained the water as fast as I could and blew air through it to dry it off. Do you think that it will still work? Or is it a complete loss?

The general rule is, if an electronic piece of equipment gets wet, make sure it's completely dry before turning it back on. That way, it never knows it was ever wet!

With the added precaution that if it was salt water the item went smimming in, wash it of with fresh water as soon as it comes out of the salt water, then dry it off.

No it wasnt salt water. I accidentally dropped it into the dish water. I let it dry out in a warm place overnight and it worked fine this morning. Close call though!
