My motherboard is AGP Rev. 1 compliant and support 3.3v. Which means a 1x/2x slot key? Please take a look at this card - Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead Max AGP:

I bought one of the very first G400 Max cards produced. I found out later that this card was only 1x AGP. The site marked below is for an installation manual for the G400 series and it states the cards are compatible with 2x & 4x AGP. I suggest that you post a query at the Matrox forum. I hven't used that card in some time but back then there were Matrox employees monitoring the site and answering questions. If you post the serial # there you may get a definative answer. http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/user_manuals/mill_g400/millg400_en.pdf

Hi OtheHill
Just 1 more Qestion. I went into my bios to check it's settings:
AGP Aperture Size : 64M AGP-2X Mode : Enabled
So will this confirm that it will match the slot? I see that the AGP slot has a small separator nearer to the left that divides it into two.
Thanks
