Hi,
I am trying to control a small car with JAVA Prog. The interface available on Car is a parallel Port. I have a prog in C but i dont want to use it with JNI...

I have started developing the code, but i am stuck. I want anyone to please tell me a small code wherein if i press the "left arrow" key on my keyboard, then it causes a data byte to be written on parallel port. Similarly if i press "right arrow" on the keyboard then i write some other byte word on parallel port.

Ill mauplate the byte word to be written in differrent cases. Pls help me with basic syntax and commands.

Also suggest me the steps to get this working in Windows XP. I tried doing this earlier using Port Talak and UserPort softwares, but wasnt successful yet.

thank u

Dream COder
