Hello everyone! :-D
OK, I have posted about my laptop overheating many times on this forum... The last time I posted about it, I was all happy because they fixed it! But now it's doing it again, but this time I found the cause, the fan has dust in it!

I tried to disassemble it, like in here:

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaA75/satA75_1.htm

But how do I get to the fan? Anyone know? Thanks! ;-)

If I connect my microwave to my PC, will I be able to download food?

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaA75/satA75_3.htm>If you don't know how to do steps 20-26> Have it done at a shop or maybe a knowledgeable friend.Laptops are real sensitive and easy to destroy. The repair you are attempting is a complete disassembly.Your laptop is still to valuable to do a untrained repair.Wish you the best!

Complete disassembly? That scares me! O_O What's that untrained repair thing? Does it work without warranty? Thanks! ;-)

BTW: I thought that there was only 1 page to that... :-$

Maybe you can clean the fan with a blast of compressed air throygh the vents. The worse places for the computer is near the kitchen or a smoker. The oil and tar attracts the dust and lint and don't let go. I've literally had to scrub the fan blades and heat sink to get them clean.

Well,I have intake filters I can clean or replace on my regular computer.I did not see any searching for a Laptop. It seems a removable intake air flow filter should come standard on laptops. They are so small though;Well, maybe manufacturers don't really want that.

*Cusses, throws a chair, and pulls hair apart*. Alright... I don't have time or money to buy a damned new laptop. Someone said to clean it through the vents... HOW? Hair drier? I'll try that. This lapsop is gonna kill me one of these days from a heart attack or breathing cancer. I'm not dismantling it anymore, I got too damn scared. Thanks. I'll tell you if the hair dryer works...
