I am also getting the same error message. I was downloading music and doing some research on the net when everything just locked up. I've restarted my PC several times. Tried to run in safe mode or at least command mode so that I could check the run CHKDSK/F:, but it just goes right back to the BSOD with the following error message: ***STOP:Ox0000007B (ox820A1310,0xC0000032,0x00000000,0x00000000)INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Please Help! I have a research paper due next week and ALL of my work is saved on the hard drive!!!

Thank you,
Brandi

Boot to the CD. Then you can select the option that will bring you to a command prompt. Then, you can run chkdsk

How to run chkdsk in Safe Mode with Command Prompt - response 7 here:
http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/147742.html

If that won't finish either, and/or you can't figure out what is wrong,
download a free utility from the maker of your hard drive's web site and run diagnostics on your hard drive(s) from the bootable floppy it makes when you execute the downloaded file - e.g. Maxtor has PowerMax

- if the drive(s) pass the tests
see response 2 and 3 in this - Repair your XP installation
http://www.computing.net/hardware/wwwboard/forum/41012.html

- if the drive(s) don't pass the test, you may be able to salvage much of your data by jumpering and connectiong the misbehaving drive as slave, and another hard drive on the same machine as master that has XP installed on it.
