im having problems with my computer and i think its a heat problem, cos after 2 - 3 hours of playing on it it randomly shutsdown and so im gona get a good Heatsink/fan and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good one to get, which is compatible with my system.

Do you have an Intel HSF right now? The HSFs that came with my last two P4s (socket 775) were excellent.

Other things can cause heat problems (if that is what it is). Check your power supply to make sure that there is good airflow through it. Check the input and output vents to make sure they aren't clogged with dust.

It is also not neccesralily a heat problem. I had the same exact problem with my computer, but it would should down like 30 mins in not 3 hours. Day of defeat musst not have like my drivers, i switched to the latest nvidia forceware, and my problem was gone. this may be the problem, if it only shuts down in that game
