Comment:

I am looking to get a headphone jack on the front of my computer in a 3.5 inch bay, preferably with volume control knob, but this is not a must.

I want it so when i plug in the headphones, the speakers are disabled.

I have a SoundBlaster LIVE! 5.1 card, and has seperate outputs for front and back speakers, therefore it would probably need to comunicate with the card itself to disable the speakers, cause the rear-out jack screws up just putting a relocating cord through the case and up to the front.

They still make full size towers. I using one right now. I think you were just speaking out of frustration but you might want to consider going to a larger case and maybe bigger PS at this time.
