Specs: Windows XP
on my compaq evo n610c laptop. Is the headphone jack easily replaceable. I noticed on a parts diagram that the motherboard part#291581-001 may contain this hardware but those go for $300+ does anyone know if its possible to just order the part thats broken or am i completely &(#)*@? I really like this laptop besides not having windows 7 and it has lasted me forever.

It's possible to replace the headphone jack, just take it to electronic repair shop.

THanks for the quick reply kuwese!

I am already installing a voltage converter so I was trying see If anyone has had a similar problem and installed it themselves, since I will be taking apart the laptop. I'm not gonna pay a repair shop.
