I'm running an ASUS P4P800-Deluxe MB on my new system. During boot up Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, and Secondary Slave all say "Not Detected". HOWEVER......I'm running a WD Raptor as my primary master, and a Maxtor SATA 80gig as Primary Slave, and a Lite-on DVD+-R as my Secondary Master. They all show up in my boot sequence, along with my floppy. The computer works fine. I'm just curious to know why it's not recognizing the drives as 'master, 'slave, etc........thanks, bryan

My first guess would be the jumpers. You can probably purchase some at CyberGuys.

I have plenty of jumpers, where do I put them? According to my manual I have it set up correctly.....but ONCE, I was wrong about somehting!

Hi all are you saying the hdd's are not detected doing boot but it will boot up to the hdd with comp working fine?? If that is the case and its a new mobod would call ASUS or go to there web site and see if there is a bios update to fix problem.
