Specs: Windows Vista
Hey guys,
on my pc there is a hdmi port and i know it works because i have connected it to my tv befor. i am currently using a dvi-d cable and decided to get a hdmi to dvi-d cable to see if it is better quality. i know that the cable works because i plugged my ps3 into a pc screen using it and the picture is great. the only problem is when i put the hdmi end into my pc and the dvi-d end into my screen and turn the pc on nothing comes up on the screen. do i need to go to controll pannel and change settings or somthing?
thanks, steve

HDMI is nothing more than DVI + audio in one cable. HDMI & DVI send the exact same digital signal to the monitor. You're wasting your time.
